Am I eligible?

To enrol in Driver CPC training, you must hold a valid driving license for the category of vehicle you intend to drive professionally. This includes both new and existing drivers.

Professional Qualification:

New drivers must obtain a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) as part of their initial qualification process.

Module Completion:

Successful completion of the initial Driver CPC qualification involves passing four modules: two theory tests (Case Studies and Multiple-Choice) and two practical tests (Driving Ability and Vehicle Safety Demonstration).

Grandfather Rights:

Drivers who held a vocational license (D, D1, D+E, or D1+E) before September 10, 2008, benefit from 'Grandfather Rights.' However, they are still required to complete periodic training.

Periodic Training:

Existing drivers need to undertake 35 hours of periodic training every five years to maintain their Driver CPC. This ongoing training is crucial for staying updated on industry regulations and enhancing skills.

Self-employed drivers are equally obligated to meet Driver CPC requirements. The training not only ensures compliance but also adds value to their skill set and business operations.

Verify before you train
